I’m Rafael, a dog dad, adventure seeker, and storyteller behind the lens. My photography career began while living in Providence and Boston, wandering the city with my camera and capturing quiet moments between people and places. After years photographing urban weddings, coastal proposals, and joyful celebrations throughout Southern New England, I moved to Burlington to embrace Vermont’s mountains, lakes, and snowy winters for skiing. The natural beauty of northern Vermont has become the perfect backdrop for love stories, family milestones, and meaningful moments worth remembering.

Over the years I have photographed many clients, including weddings, couples, families, and surprise proposals. During a session I focus on helping people relax and enjoy the moment so the images reflect genuine connection rather than stiff poses. To create these dreamy images, I use professional full frame cameras and fast prime lenses. These lenses allow me to create beautiful shallow depth of field photographs where you stand out clearly while the background melts into soft natural bokeh. Whether we are photographing along Lake Champlain, in a Vermont meadow, in the mountains, or in downtown Burlington, the result is elegant imagery where you become the focus of the photograph while the scenery fades into a soft cinematic backdrop.
